Maia Kealoha was cast in her debut out of a massive casting call for the coveted role of Lilo in the live-action/animation revival of the 2002 Disney animated feature, Lilo & Stitch (2025), with cast members Chris Sanders, Zach Galifianakis, Sydney Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham and Courtney B. Vance under Dean Fleischer Camp’s direction, and produced and released wide by Disney on a $150 million budget.
Kealoha was then cast in a supporting role in the action comedy, The Wrecking Crew (date to be announced), starring Jason Momoa, Morena Baccarin, Dave Bautista, Stephen Root, and Claes Bang under Angel Manuel Soto’s direction, and produced and released by Amazon MGM Studios.
Maia Kealoha was born in Honolulu and raised in Kailua-Kona on the east coast of the Big Island of Hawaii by her parents, including her mother, Brittney. Kealoha began studying dance as a young child.
